(d) Durati01I.~As the onset of bacillary dysentery is usually sudden, . the dUl'ation of the disease could be stated accurately in all of the cases and tl{ey fell into four groups : ~ A. 1 ,yeek or under, 3, with one Shiga infection. B. About 2 \veeks (11-15 clays), 4, with two Shiga infections. C. About 3 weeks (19-21 clays), 7, with two Shiga hlfections. D. OnT 4 weeks (47, 50, 70 days), 3, with one Shiga irifection.
